Taiwan 5-Day Itinerary + Budget | Where to Shop and Eat!

Here is my DIY Itinerary and breakdown of expenses to help you plan your trip to Taiwan!

Day 0:
10PM – Flight to Taiwan

Day 1:
3:00AM – Arrival in Taiwan, finish immigration.
4:00AM – Claim wifi, klook booth is 24 hours open
5:00AM – Buy easycard
6:00AM – Travel to Taipei through MRT
8:00AM – Arrival at hotel, drop bags
8:30AM – Breakfast at Mcdo, 24 hours open kasi siya. Other establishments opens at 11AM
10:00AM – Sun Yat Sen Memprorial Hall
11:00AM – Taipei 101
12:00NN – Lunch at Din Tai Fung
1:00PM-2:00PM – Check out Taipei 101
3:00PM – Return to Hotel to check-in, rest.
6:00PM – Explore Ximending
8:00PM – Dinner at Momoya Wagyu and Hot Pot (SUPER MUST TRY!!)
9:00PM-10:00PM – Buy Pasalubong in Ximending, stores accepts cards for payments
10:30PM – Return to Hotel and Sleep

Day 2:
6:00AM – Breakfast at Mcdo (Free Breakfast ng Hotel)
7:00AM – Meet up for North Coast tour at ximending area (Purchase this sa Klook)
9:00AM – Arrive at Yehliu Geopark, goodies here are cheaper than ximending!
10:00AM – Arrive at Golden Waterfall, picture lang haha.
11:00AM – Arrive at Jiufen Old Street, lunch and shopping for souvenirs.
Try their Xiao Long Bao (100NTD for8 Pcs), Beef Noodles(120NTD) and Pork Rice (40NTD)
1:00PM-2:00PM – Went around Jiufen
2:30PM-3:30PM – Shifen Waterfall
4:00PM-5:00PM – Shifen Lantern Release
7:00PM – Back in Ximending, go to Shilin Night Market
8:00PM – Dinner at Shilin Night Market: Must try: Wagyu Cubes and Pepper Buns and Tiger Suger. Shopping again!
9:00PM – Go back to hotel and sleep

Day 3:
Taichung tour, got our tour from a kababayan based in taiwan. If ur interested I can send you his details just message me!
6:00AM – Meet up at Ximending Station.
9:00AM – Arrive in Houli Flower Farm
12:00NN – Lunch at a nearby eatery. 90NTD only but really big serving and good food!
1:00PM – Rainbow Village
2:00PM – 3:00PM – Green Fantasy Forest
4:00PM – Travel back to Ximending
6:00PM – Dinner at Modern Toilet (Huge servings as in for 2 people but di masyadong masarap)
7:00PM – Shopping at ximending again
9:00PM – Go Back to Hotel

Day 4:
9:00AM – Breakfast at Mcdo
10:00AM – Chiang Kai Shek Memorial
11:00AM-12:00NN – Lunch at a local restaurant near Wufenpu
1:00PM-4:00PM – Shopping at Wufenpu Area, try peanut ice cream! So good!
5:00PM – Travel to taipei 101, shop for groceries (pasalubong again).
8:00PM – Went back to hotel and pack.

Day 5
9:00AM – Breakfast at Mcdo
10:00AM – Went to Taipei City Mall, so many souvenirs! Milk Tea key chains and more!
1:00PM – Lunch at a japanese resto, Yabu vibes,
3:00PM – Went back to Hotel, side trip at a mall near our hotel to buy adidas and birkenstock. (SUPER MURA IN TAIWAN) rest sa hotel
7:00PM – Travel to taoyuan int’l airport.
12:00AM – Flight back to Manila

Budget Breakdown per person
Cebu Pac ticket per person: 5,000 Pesos Roundtrip
Hotel: 1,300 Pesos per person per night at F Hotel Luzhou Taipei
North Coast Tour: 750 Pesos via klook
Taichung Tour: 1,300 NTD ~ 2,000 pesos + 400NTD entrance fee (680 pesos)
Wifi: 5 Days – 350 pesos good for 4 persons na to via klook din
Pasalubong: 2000 pesos
Food Budget: 500 pesos per meal per person. Nag over budget na kami pero 200 pesos per meal super busog ka na din.
Milk Tea Budget: 500 pesos for the whole trip
Easy Card: 500NTD ~ 850 Pesos with load na to

Total Damage: 24,500 ALL IN

1. Birkenstock prices ranges from 3,000 to 3,400 pesos
2. Late nagoopen mga malls and resto, 11AM pa
3. MTR starts at 6AM
4. Pasalubong prices:
Milk Tea key chains: ranges from 50NTD-70NTD
Ref Magnet: 90NTD
Milk Tea in Bottles: 25NTD
Pineapple Cakes (delicacy nila) – sa groceries: 55NTD per box. Mga sosyal na variant is
200NTD Per box
5. Mura din ang Adidas compared sa prices here sa atin.
6. Buy Oolong Tea and Oriental Beauty Tea (sa taiwan lang talaga available).
7. Buy Goodies sa groceries kasi mas mura!
