-Hike at the end was Elephant Mountain
-HIGHLY recommend staying a couple days in Sun Moon Lake if you go to Taiwan, there was a cool new hostel in Ita Thao that we ran into

I'm thrilled that you'd gotten a chance to visit Taiwan. I was born and raised in Taipei and live in Seattle. I'm very pleased to see this video because you described it best- It is underrated. It is clean and safe and beautiful. Inexpensive. The food and people are what make this island a gem. It's nicknamed Formosa for a reason! I hope you get to do some makeup shopping next time you're there because that's where I get my beauty haul a couple times a year. You don't need to speak the local language to tour Taiwan. English is pretty much written everywhere and people can handle simple English conversation. Even if they don't. They will do everything they can to help you. That's the spirit of island of Taiwan. -Ariel

Great video. We're going to Sun Moon Lake soon, too! Can you explain a bit more about the bus ride you took? Where did you get it? Do you know the bus #? I can look it up online.

I love watching your videos, and I really appreciate how honest you are with your opinions. I thought both of your recent travel blogs were awesome! I made my husband watch this video, because I thought it was so good, and he wants to go to Asia traveling some day.
