Explored Taiwan – 4D3N Itinerary – [DIY for 5pax]
⚠️This video mostly contains views, sightseeing shots (because we’re instagram babies too – we love to take insta-friendly pictures and go to insta-friendly places), and some useful information per location.
⚠️This video contains no chit-chats – so you are able to see directly all the location views/sceneries and shots.
⚠️ I stated some details regarding entrance fees per destination.
For those without details about entrance fee, it means entrance is free.
⚠️I apologize for some videos that are too shaky (Initially, we did not intend to actually do a vlog/film for this trip. But now I just did so anyway, to help future Taiwan travelers out there.)
⚠️ As of October 12, 2019 – Taiwan is still visa-free so we it was not necessary to have a visa going to Taiwan during this time.
DAY 1 (DIY: CKS-XIMENDING):

– We hired a private tour service to accompany us in all destinations we plan to go to around Taichung and nearby areas.
📍Green Fantasy Forest, Miaoli, Taiwan
📍Zongshe Flower Farm, Houli, Taichung
📍The Original Store of Chun Shui Tang (Home of Original Pearl Milk Tea), Taichung

DAY 4: LAST-MINUTE PASALUBONG SHOPPING & FLIGHT TO MANILA
Airplane ticket (Cebupac) – 5,090php RT excluding travel tax
Airport Transfer – We were able to avail 1500NTD worth of airport transfer (3000NTD RT), referred by a friend. This is the average rate for private airport transfers for more than 3pax (we were 5), usually the hotels around taiwan offer 1700NTD for 5pax and above
Easycard (prepaid)- We booked from KLOOK, pickup at Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1 (on the day of arrival) – 167php
– This card is still not loaded, you can load it on nearby FamilyMart/7eleven/MRT Station. Easycard can also be used to buy food on some restaurants in the airport.
– Easycard can be used for train fare, bus fare, convenience store food/items, etc., Starbucks, and several establishments around Taiwan.
More info here:
4G Wifi/Hotspot (prepaid)- We booked from KLOOK, pickup at Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1 (on the day of arrival) – 300php/head – As far as i know, you may connect a max. of 5 devices per hotspot. We decided to get one hotspot each so we can go separate ways while on tour and still have our own internet.
Hotel – Moshamanla Hotel Taipei Main Station – Booked from Agoda (used CC) -, around 12,000php/room (max 3pax/room) with free breakfast each – total for 4D3N
Besides the prepaid/cc charges above, the rest of our expenses were paid in cash, on-site (taiwan).
Pocket money brought: 15,000php only:
– in PH: we exchanged it to 300USD
– in Taiwan airport – around 9000NTD
Note: At the end of the trip, I still had around 3000php in excess from my pocket money (included that i already bought pasalubong)
I recommend you download the HERE WeGo app and also download offline version of Taiwan map. This app is very helpful going around taiwan. It’s like a human Waze app.
