Taiwanese Sticky Rice: Rich Flavors – Morgane Recipes





This Taiwanese rice is part of the dim sum. It is made of sticky rice mixed with meat, mushrooms, shrimp and infused with rich flavors of sauces and spices, we use a steam basket to cook it.
Traditionally, this dish is prepared in small portions wrapped in lotus leaves. I propose you to do it as a complete meal for 4 people.

Ingredients for 4 people
400g sticky rice
2 slices of pork belly
5 shiitake mushrooms
20g small dried shrimps
2 Chinese sausages
50g shallots
10g cilantro
2 tsp five spice powder
½ tsp ground pepper
½ tsp salt
1 tsp Shaoxing cooking wine
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp vegetable oil
