Inflight experience of a United Airlines flight from Taipei Taoyuan to San Francisco with a Boeing 777-300ER in Economy Class in November 2020 // N2639U
I’m noticing there are less and less direct international flights out there and united isn’t an airline I ever considered, looks alright though! Also under the current circumstances an almost empty flight is certainly a good thing 😅
It makes me cringe to see United waste so much natural resources and generate so much unneeded carbon footprint running a long-haul flight empty while everyone is complaining about a silly straw. If they must do this, why can't they find a smaller plane like the 787 instead of the biggest plane in the fleet?! Shame on United!
Even though it's extremely sad to see empty flights like this, it just makes going back to 'Normal' that much more anticipating and exciting. Let's not lose hope and keep flying!
I took this exact flight in summer 2018. How are you managing to travel around so much during covid times?
Nice trip report! What an empty flight, seems like there's only you and the crew onboard.
