Daan Forest Park 大安森林公園 is a public park at the center of Daan District in Taipei, Taiwan. Occupying twenty-six hectares, the park is mainly used by residents as a green activity space for various outdoor activities. The inspiration behind the construction of Daan Forest Park is that of New York City’s Central Park and London’s Hyde Park. Daan Forest Park serves as the “lungs of Taipei city” and provides respite from the hustle and bustle of Taipei’s city life.
