I love the positive vibe you present in your videos, as a fellow Aussie I think it's great to travel, enjoy the best of the world, and coming home makes me realise how blessed we are.

What you're describing at 1:57 is basically Japan style streets and markets. Clean, Orderly, Sensible. Taiwan is known to be quite similar to Japan. These influences go way back.

Shilin night market has become very touristy, while the foods are still awesome, it tends to get overly crowded on most days and some of the food stalls have become more international catered and lost some of its traditional authentic selections and tastes. If you don't mind venturing a bit further away from the MRT stations, I'd recommend the Shida, Raohe, and Ningxia night markets.

the strawberry snack was an  ancient chinese snack pass until now.   it's called Tan Hu Lu(in chinese )!  haha, different culture got different food~ Enjoy~~~

I thought it was pricey for asia but then again I was in the philippines just before taiwan hahha great vlog! I LOVE your edits! Did you find the MRT was quiet easy to navigate??
