We are in Taipei, Taiwan at the Raohe Street Night Market (饒河街觀光夜市) on a beautiful Friday evening. The Raohe Night Market is one of the oldest night markets in Songshan District. To get here we have taken the Taipei Metro to Songshan MRT Station which is a short walk from this Taipei Night Market! Once you emerge from the MRT Station, just follow the signs towards the market. You cannot miss the huge entrance gate to the Raohe Street Night Market or the huge Ciyou Temple (慈祐宮) located right next to the market entrance.

This market is the place to find traditional Taiwanese Street Food, Chinese Street Food and even some western foods. We came to this market to find Taipei Must Eat Foods and we were not disappointed, this 600 meter long Night Market offers street foods to all tastes and nationalities. We enjoyed so many typical delicious Taipei Eats as we made our way through the market.

We really enjoyed visiting the Raohe Night Market in Taipei and based on what we have heard this Night Market is considered one of the best Taipei Night Markets to find Taipei Street food. When you travel to Taipei, be sure to add the Raohe Street Night Market to your itinerary of Taipei Top Attractions to visit.

At 5:21, it's the candy "Nougat." I think it might not be Chinese candy…
At 17:00, you're right. It's custard apple, we call it Buddha (cause it looks like Buddha's head). It's introduced by Dutch people…
At 39:18, it's a dough and used to perform by a real person, not a robot. LOL
At 46:25, it's fries made of sweet potatoes~

Watching your vlog was really long but good, it showed the huge amounts of dishes on offer in just the one market. It would have been even better if you asked the vendors to try and explain the unknown foods… But I still liked watching you guys. I've just liked and subscribed. 🙂

Only foods in several Taipei night markets, takes plenty of your time to catch into your video. Frankly, outside of Taipei City, especially, country side and mid/south/eastern Taiwan, there are many of local
flavor foods still need you to find out. In Taiwan, street foods are your movable menu all the time.

I watched through the whole video and noticed that you did tried some good ones, but missed the ones that this marketed is famous for! The medicine pork soup and more. Though you did have some of them showing in the video.
    Try them next time!

When I watched this video, it was 12 o’clock in the morning, and make me sooooo hungry!
I can’t take it anymore, I must go to the kitchen to find something to eat. 😋

I just got back from Taipei and must admit the food choices were awful in markets and on the street. Especially for Caucasian tourists. If u want to find a menu with an English translation I will be searching a long time. Almost as if taiwan doesn’t want or like foreigners. Also don’t expect a mix of nationalities or cultures to try out. Everywhere you go it is just bland asian food . I know many people I spoke to who had the same issues and many went sometimes days without food as it was so hard to find good hygenic food. I’m stil like other days later suffering gastro intestinal problems from the lack of hygiene and food preparation and cooking regulations.
For this reason I would not rush back to Taiwan

Everything looks so colourful there. And very busy! Not sure about the squid and octopus though. You guys must’ve been pretty full up after your visit.
