Love this place. My friend and I did the same hike on our trip earlier this year, however we continued to hike down after we reached the Maokong Gondola station through Zhinan Temple all the way back down to Taipei Zoo Station. I think it took us a total of about 4.5-5 hours which included a stop at one of the teahouses near Maokong Gondola Station for lunch. This was probably the highlight of our trip.
I'm from Taiwan. I don't even know this place until seeing this video! Wow~!
Really enjoy these nature walks, so scenic, can watch over and over again. Please do more of these nature exploring, historic sights videos. Love, love, love the waterfall view from inside the temple with all the ferns, greeneries, and flowers. The sound and the sight gave me such sense of serene feeling.

I was born in Taiwan and I did not know about this waterfall. I do have to admit that I did not travel much when I was a young but I have since changed all that with my work and my family travel plans. Everyone should explore this wonderful world of ours. Thank you for showing me this side of Taiwan. Do you think you can return to Canada after one year and return to "regular life" like you originally planned?
