Celebrated this year’s Chinese New Year in Taiwan! Felt really refreshing since I usually spend this festive holiday back at home in Indonesia or in the US in the past. People said that many of the shops and restaurants are closed during the Chinese New Year and damn right they are. But nonetheless, we still managed to visit some of the famous destinations and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest there!
We visited the Shilin night market twice during our trip because once is never enough! All those irresistible street food forced me to make many stops at the night market. With both hands full of plastic and paper bags filled with an array of street food, my family and I always made our way to find the next food stall to visit.
